How To Use Our 'Coffee Spice Rub For Potato Wedges'
Ideally use a starchy potato for cooking in the oven such as Maris Piper, Desiree or Russet. Add more or less of the coffee spice rub depending on how spicy you like your food. I like mine to be nice and spicy!!
Step 1 – Choose the potatoes you want to use for the potato wedges.
Step 2 – Peel the potatoes, wash and wipe dry.
Step 3 – Chop the potatoes into wedges.
Step 4 – Add 2 – 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil to a bowl. Add the potatoes and mix until they are all covered.
Step 5 – Sprinkle 1 – 3 tablespoons of the coffee spice rub over the vegetables. Adjust the quantity to your taste.
Step 6 – Mix together the potatoes and coffee spice rub until they are covered. Leave to marinate for an hour or for a stronger flavour overnight in the fridge.
Step 7 – Preheat an oven to 180°C. Place the coffee spiced potato wedges into and oven proof dish and cook for approximately 35 minutes or until tender.
